last soccer & randomness

I have checked off a few-to-dos on my list, the fridge is stocked with groceries, laundry is in, Little One is settling down for a nap, and I have an hour to write and catch up on here. There is so much I want to say, but as it usually goes when I actually have made some time to sit here and write I become blocked.

Soccer is officially over and I admit that I am a little sad. But as we say goodbye to soccer, we are looking forward to cooler temperatures and sweaters and boots. We are looking forward to the first snowfall and the excitement on the girls' faces when they see the white snow on the ground for the first time. We are looking forward to Kennadie trying music classes and Thanksgiving and the holiday season and Christmas shopping and the first day Christmas music is played on the radio.

In a little over a month we will celebrate our first Christmas as a family of four and in less than two months we will say goodbye to 2014. There's so much good to look forward to but also balancing it out with not getting too ahead of myself and enjoying each day as it comes and being content with exactly where I am right now.

It was a great season, a season full of friends and family and watching my girl come alive out on that field.
