While I am still playing catch up, here are some little moments that we have been enjoying over the last few weeks:
-Bike rides & flowers-
trying so hard to turn this bike around on her own
-Watching her in dance class- Her third recital is coming up in the beginning of June & they are dancing to the song, I enjoy being a girl. I can't even get over how cute this is!
-Day trips & spending time with friends- We spent the day at a children's museum during school vacation & had such a great time.
love the look on their faces
i love this photo! she was having so much fun & I am excited I caught this face on camera :)
-Playing around with the camera- I have always had a love for photography & although I never thought about it before, I look back & I can clearly see how I have always documented everything in our life through pictures. I have always taken tons of photos throughout our day- documenting everything from the way she looks when she wakes up, to our walks in the middle of the day, to the way she falls asleep with toys & books in bed at night. Documenting our lives through photos has always just come so naturally to me & was always just a part of who I am & what I have always done. I have always had a love for capturing real, honest moments in our life & it doesn't come as a surprise that since I have been learning how to use my camera, I have fallen even more in love with doing this. I think one of the most amazing things that I have noticed through taking photos is how much more I pay attention to the little details in life- the way the clouds look, the colors in the sky when the sun rises, the way the boats look in the water, the expressions on Kennadie's face, the way Dakota's fur fluffs up at the top of his head or how he always looks like he is smiling. It really makes me pay more attention to life & live on a much deeper level & I couldn't be happier.
-Early Sunday morning drives with Kennadie- Kennadie & I were up early a few Sunday's ago, so we let Josh sleep, I grabbed a coffee at Dunkin' Donuts, & we just drove around. We both had our cameras & we took pictures of trees, old buildings, the lake down the road. And in between snapping our cameras, we chatted about anything & everything, we watched out for birds, & screamed to each other, "look!" when bunnies hopped by us. These moments are so incredibly special to me & this is something that we definitely will be doing a lot more of & making it a special Sunday morning tradition, just the two of us.
