about this blog
I began blogging in 2012, as I was beginning to heal from the postpartum OCD and anxiety that I experienced after the birth of our daughter, Kennadie. Blogging was free therapy, and connecting with and helping others who had also experienced a postpartum mood disorder was just icing on the cake.
Over the years, blogging became a creative outlet for me. Everyday Moments is where I share my photographs and pieces of our life. This blog, like life, is a mix of topics-overcoming a postpartum mood disorder, infertility, our adoption journey through foster care, family, parenting, photography, life and travel.
My husband, Josh, and I are raising our little family in a small town in Massachusetts. Kennadie is now eight years old. After years of going back and forth, dealing with some infertility issues, surprises, fears and heartache we took the leap and began our journey toward adoption through foster care. The adoption of our now four year old daughter, Nicole, became official in 2015.
We hope you come on in and stay awhile.
