We are a few weeks into early intervention and this little girl is doing so good.
Her therapist, Beth is awesome; she grabs Little One's attention from the moment she walks into our home and I get to sit back and watch and I can't help but smile the whole time. Little One tries to say Beth's name now and knows exactly where to go when she gets here. It's definitely been such a positive experience so far.
With Kennadie in school everything is so much more rushed in the late afternoons and trying to find a balance of getting things done and playing with the girls and getting them outside is a little more tricky then it was over the summer, but I do my best to squeeze in any outdoor playtime for them when we can.
The girls' Halloween costumes came in this week. Months ago, Kennadie talked about being Little Bo Peep for Halloween this year and I knew she wouldn't forget it. And it's so fitting for right now. We have the cutest Little Bo Peep and sheep around.
We ended the week with a trip to the playground after school and movie night with ice cream at home. The girls don't watch any TV during the week (for no other reason than we really just haven't had time) so lately it's been a special treat for Kennadie come Friday nights to cuddle and relax on the couch with a movie of her choice. She chose Monster High and before I saw this I thought it was really too old for her, but I know that she has been really into this lately and was so excited to finally see a Monster High movie and the message they send about being yourself was great.
