a princess and pirates birthday party

We celebrated Kennadie's fifth birthday at a local dance studio for a princess and pirates party. The last few years we have held her parties at home and as much as I love having family and friends here, gathered in our home, it was nice to do nothing more than invite her friends and show up and have the studio take care of the rest. It was stress free and awesome and the kids had a great time.

It was very last minute when we found out that Elsa would be arriving for her party and she was so excited when she saw her.

She was so interactive with the kids and they really know how to make a girl feel special on her birthday.

We didn't have enough time to open gifts at the studio so we went back to Opa and Oma's and opened them with family.

Bruce hasn't been to a Friendly's in years so after opening gifts we all headed out to Friendly's for dinner and dessert. Perfect ending to the weekend.
