The house is quiet and I'm happy and feeling so thankful. Thankful for my family, my husband, my daughter, for our love and the strength of our relationships. For our health. For our animals. For our house that we have created into a warm and safe and peaceful home. For my best friend and her girls' who are family.
We have started with the hot chocolate that Kennadie loves, bringing up the Christmas bins, decorating the house, and painting our nails "holiday colors".
We relaxed at home Thanksgiving morning-playing games, eating a big breakfast, and watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.
We spent the afternoon at my parents' house with Josh's dad, my sister, my grandmother, and my uncle and cousins for Thanksgiving dinner and then we headed over for the Christmas lights display and to see Santa with Madison and Aile's girls'.
Madison looked around and said, "I can't even believe this is happening." Ha,ha, so cute. I am glad that it was so magical for them.
We had a great day and I am looking forward to decorating our tree, getting out for some holiday fun, and spending time with family this weekend. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
