magic wings in pictures

We spent the day Saturday with some friends at Magic Wings-a butterfly conservatory. If you are out in the Springfield area I would definitely recommend checking this place out. It's beautiful here & we had so much fun!

Kennadie spent most of the time trying to get a butterfly to land on her. She would stand there & hold her arm out & wait so patiently. I felt so bad for her because it just wasn't happening.

Finally after about 30 minutes a butterfly landed on her dress & she was one happy little girl!

See I like butterflies from far away.I'd probably poop my pants if one landed on me.Seriously.

These photos are GORGEOUS!! We take the kids to the Museum of Natural Sciences a few times a year, and my favorite thing there is their Butterfly Conservatory...I am the worst of all with the standing and the waiting and the wanting a butterfly to land on me...but then they do and every single time I regret it because they do sort of freak me out a bit up close, because they are so...GIRTHY...and THICK and BUG-LIKE, but it seems every time I forget that part, until I remember.

Beautiful pictures! They look professional. Kennadie is so adorable! The one where she had her hand out was precious. What a great memory you made.
