our weekend

us girls with the gorgeous bride

I met Erin through the Moms Group that I started a few years ago. In the beginning, it was really just the two of us & our girls. Other moms would join in on some activities here & there but many of them never stuck around. Eventually, our group did grow & many of us have become good friends. Erin has been there from the very beginning & I'm so glad that she's in my life. I consider her a close friend & I couldn't be happier for her as she starts this new chapter in her life. I wish her nothing but happiness & for a long life married to her best friend :)

my date to the wedding (since Josh had to work)

After the wedding, we headed over to my parents house for dinner because my Opa & Oma were leaving to go back to Florida. As much as I hate when they leave, I understand why they go; all of their friends are down there, it's warm, & there is so much more for them to do. We see them almost every day when they are up here, so it's hard having to say goodbye. I saw this cute picture frame at Kohl's the other day & since it totally describes our family I grabbed it. I put a picture of all of us in it & gave it to Opa & Oma before they left. It definitely won't be the same without them here & we already can't wait for them to come back in the spring :)

Absolutely gorgeous.
I always love having the honour to celebrate one of the most important day of a friends life.
I am so glad that you have one another.
PS. You and your date are smoking hot.

I have never been a big wedding person (I never even had one!!) But I am getting more into it now & I actually had tears in my eyes at her wedding which has never happened to me before.
And haha thanks Kim :)
