Last weekend, we met up with a few friends at a park for a day of play festival. From arts & crafts, storytelling, an obstacle course, to karate demonstrations & robots, there was plenty to do here. The kids had a chance to control a robot, which was a huge hit. We ate a picnic lunch in the grass & the kids loved feeding the ducks. Of course, we ended the day with ice cream.

Sunday, Kennadie & I spent the day at my parents house while Josh went golfing. Kennadie went swimming by herself for the first time! She was so excited to swim without holding onto anyone. Me? I wanted to cry! Where has my little baby gone?!

She was exhausted after swimming, so Papa pushed her around on the float for a good half hour. It must have been relaxing because both of them started to fall asleep!

Since Madagascar is a big hit in our house, Kennadie was ecstatic when Josh & I took her to the movie theater for the first time to see the new Madagascar movie in 3D. She wasn't sure about the glasses at first but we were surprised at how well she sat through the entire movie. After the movie was over, we headed to Target so she could pick out a comforter & sheet set for her new big bed.

Way too many firsts going on with her this past week!!
