Obsessing over: Learning about blogging! There is so much you can do with a blog & I love that I have found a way to write & share my experience with postpartum anxiety/ocd. I find it therapeutic to write. My new blog is my little corner where I can be myself, write about the past, the present & record milestones in my daughter’s life.
Working on: Taking care of myself! I am trying to work on eating as healthy as possible & exercising more. I would love to get back into yoga, maybe even take a bath once in a while & I love that I have found writing to be a way to release my feelings & thoughts. I have learned that one of the best things you can do for your family is to take care of yourself.
Thinking about: Possibly taking some classes, what I want to do for a career, starting a PPD support group in my area & my 30th birthday coming up in a few weeks…yikes!
Anticipating: Taking my daughter to Disney!
Listening to: Stronger (What doesn’t kill you) by Kelly Clarkson. This is my favorite song right now & although the song has nothing to do with postpartum depression, it reminds me of the struggle I went through & I truly believe what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
Eating: Trying to eat healthier but the pizza last night threw that idea right out the window! I will try the healthy eating again tomorrow!
Wishing: That I wouldn’t worry or think about the worst case scenario as much as I do.
